Dr. Miron, M.D, Ph.D.(c), FRCPC, is a Psychiatrist who completed his medical training and residency in Psychiatry at the Université de Montréal, Québec, Canada. He then completed a clinical and research fellowship in rTMS at the University of Toronto. He has since returned to the Université de Montréal, where he pursues a career as a Clinician-Researcher. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor (Department of Psychiatry and Addictology, Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal), co-directs the Psychiatric Neuromodulation Unit with Dr Paul Lespérance at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), and is a Principal Scientist at the Centre de Recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM). He specializes in the clinical application and development of innovative treatment strategies in refractory psychiatric disorders, including repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), while also providing advanced psychopharmacological treatments.
