HIKE for Mental Health

Recently, Leo R. Walker, President & Treasurer of HIKE For Mental Health, visited the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) offices to present a check for $41,000 to the Foundation and its President & CEO, Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D.

This 2017 gift from HIKE For Mental Health collectively comes from hikers and their friends and family in support of mental health research. HIKE’s total funding for BBRF now totals nearly $220,000.

HIKE for Mental Health is a registered nonprofit organization born of a single vision: a world in which everyone, including those who suffer from mental illness, can find the simple joy of living.

BBRF is very grateful for the longtime support and dedication that both Leo and HIKE For Mental Health bring to BBRF.
