SUMMARY: “Mental health issues often begin in adolescence, and much of the groundbreaking research funded by NARSAD Grants focuses on this population,” said Benita Shobe, Brain & Behavior Research Foundation President and CEO. “The University of California has consistently placed itself in the fore as a leader for mental health research breakthroughs, and we are proud to support the gifted scientists there.”
