Moderated by Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D., President & CEO of the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation and host of the public television series “Healthy Minds.”
With the support of family, friends and your community, you can make a difference in the fight against mental illness. Brain & Behavior Research Foundation relies on the generosity of friends like you to help fund leading brain and behavior research.
One in five people has a diagnosable mental disorder, but often fear and shame prevent people from seeking help. Healthy Minds with Dr. Jeffrey Borenstein aims to remove the stigma of mental illness and demonstrate that with help, there is hope. The series humanizes common psychiatric conditions through inspiring personal stories as well as experts sharing cutting edge information about diagnosis and treatment. Topics for the series’ fourth season include suicide prevention, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression and motherhood, and the mental health issues faced by our veterans.
